Unii Babies

Welcome to Unii Babies, a weekly podcast for those who are trying to conceive, pregnant, or parenting a baby or toddler. Created by unii.com, the home of family wellbeing education, and hosted by paediatrician Dr. Saranya Ravindran, each episode is devoted to asking a leading doctor, surgeon, or other family health expert the questions that parents like you want answered. From postpartum sex to fertility news, birth planning, breastfeeding tips, first steps, first aid, first words, toddler tantrums, and sleep advice, every Unii Babies is jam-packed with information you won’t find elsewhere. That’s because we ask the questions that spring from parental instincts and those a doctor would tell you to ask if they were your best friend. Unii is the online home of family wellbeing education. We co-create original, exclusive video courses—we call them Unii Journeys—with leading doctors, surgeons, dietitians, sleep coaches, and other experts at our London HQ. Our experts answer parenting questions directly in our Ask Unii shorts on social media, and you can hear more from them and other health and wellbeing luminaries on Unii Babies, our first podcast. Dr. Saranya is a paediatrician, a new mum and works with parents and young children at one of London’s busiest accident and emergency departments. She found Unii’s expert-led video courses in the early stages of her first pregnancy while researching high-quality, evidence-based resources for parents online. Now part of the Unii family and a new mum, she brings her expertise and personal experience to Unii Babies, interviewing a new expert weekly and voices real parent questions as well as plenty of her own. Unii Babies is delighted to host some of Unii’s in-house experts, including award-winning obstetrician and gynaecologist Dr. Shree Datta, consultant paediatrician Dr. Su Laurent, baby feeding expert Wendy Lever, IBCLC, and award-winning sleep practitioner Sam Sadighi. Unii’s Love, Sex, and Relationships course is led by professional relationship coach Natalie Mossayebi, Unii Babies first guest. Expect to be introduced to brand new experts at Unii’s London headquarters to discuss all things baby, toddler, pregnancy, and conception health. Don’t miss an episode of Unii Babies! Unii Babies is a weekly podcast about all things baby, from conceiving right through to the toddler years. Brought to you by unii.com, the home of family well-being education, it stars host Dr. Saranya Ravindran, an NHS paediatrician, and field-leading expert guests. Health and wellness information can be confusing. We bring you clear advice you can use, from fertility treatment news to tips on pregnancy nutrition, successful breastfeeding, helping your baby sleep, and better postpartum sex.

Unii Babies answers your instinctive questions, as well as those our host Dr. Saranya, a new mum and a doctor, would ask in your shoes, with warmth and lots of fun stories. Guests include the Unii Experts, who lead our growing number video courses for parents. Think leading obstetricians, gynaecologists, paediatricians, midwives, dietitians, sleep coaches, relationship experts, and more.

Our Unii Journey video episodes are created to cover every aspect of becoming and being a parent, and Unii Babies does the same for new families and families-to-be.

Most importantly, each Unii Babies episode identifies problems and illuminates solutions that you have not yet considered. So many of us attend hospital and other costly appointments with questions limited by our lack of expertise and sometimes misleading advice returned by "Dr. Google." Unii Babies bring clarity and bridge those knowledge gaps through warm and very human conversation, ensuring you’re covered and confident.

Every episode leaves you with something you won’t learn elsewhere and empowers you to make better choices for your family. Subscribe today to get the answers you need and start asking the right questions.

Unii Babies is created and owned by London-based family wellbeing educational platform Unii.com, which offers hundreds of episodes of expert-led video courses and a library of medically reviewed articles devoted to improving both baby and child health and enhancing your parenting journey.
